Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to inspect vehicles, document condition, and support the sales team. You will travel to dealerships to assess damage, take photos, and prepare detailed reports for the auction platform.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to work outside in the elements for extended periods
• Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and mechanical issues
• Prepare and submit condition reports, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related docs
• Assist sales team with up-selling or cross-selling services and products
• Interface with dealers to ensure client satisfaction and build relationships
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write reports and list vehicles for auction platform
