Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector who loves cars and wants a role at a growing company. Inspectors are the face of ACV Auctions, discussing vehicle condition with clients and delivering trustworthy service.

You'll work with a Territory Manager and a team of Inspectors, inspecting vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and mechanical issues, then prepare comprehensive reports and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to work outside in the elements for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions and off-lease to detect damage.
• Prepare and submit vehicle condition reports and cost estimates.
• Support sales team with up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with dealers to ensure client satisfaction.
• Travel to and from dealerships and write condition reports.
• Capture photos and upload to the company image server.
• List inspected vehicles on the ACV platform.
