Job summary

ACV Auctions seeks an enthusiastic Inspector to inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease sites, documenting condition reports and cost estimates. You will partner with a Territory Manager and a team of Inspectors, traveling to locations to capture detailed photos and write precise condition reports for the ACV Auctions platform.

Applicants should have at least 1 year in the automobile field with customer service experience, a valid driver's license, and strong English

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Able to work outside in all weather; physical stamina to lift 25 lbs.
• Good communication to understand customer needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease locations to detect damage.
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and repair estimates.
• Assist sales team with up-sell or cross-sell opportunities.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to perform inspections.
• Capture and upload vehicle photos to the image server.
• List inspected vehicles on the auction platform.
• Register independent dealerships as buyers for the platform.
