Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease sites, identifying damage and mechanical issues. You will prepare condition reports, cost estimates, and upload photos using a company smartphone.

The role requires at least 1 year in the auto field with customer service, plus a valid driver's license and ability to lift 25 lbs. You will travel to various locations to complete inspections and support sales with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in automobile field with customer service background.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking English.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and submit condition reports and repair/replacement cost estimates.
• Take photos of vehicles and upload to image server using company smartphone.
• List inspected wholesale vehicles on the platform for bidding.
• Communicate with dealers to maintain client satisfaction and build relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect vehicles.
