Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a vehicle data-entry associate to input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a TC-75 handheld device. Responsibilities include recording VIN, stock numbers, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, and options, and affixing barcodes to vehicles on arrival.

The role also covers applying work orders, routing labels, flagging “no key” vehicles, guiding transporters to drop zones, reporting damages, and ensuring sale windshield codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision abilities include color vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75).
• Record VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color and options.
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle on arrival.
• Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles.
• Identify and flag “no key” vehicles.
• Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones.
• Inspect and report transport damage as required.
• Provide proper sale identification windshield codes.
