Job summary

J. Allen Toyota is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to grow our pre-owned inventory by finding and acquiring quality vehicles from a variety of sources. You will be a vehicle hunter who builds relationships with customers and helps bring the right inventory to our dealership.

You’ll search online marketplaces, contact private sellers, appraise vehicles, provide history reports and market valuations, and collaborate with Service and Sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and identify opportunities to purchase or trade vehicles.
• Provide customers with vehicle history reports and market valuations.
• Appraise vehicles and work with management to acquire quality inventory.
• Search online marketplaces and other sources to find vehicles that fit inventory needs.
• Contact private sellers and create purchasing opportunities.
• Utilize customer data to identify acquisition opportunities.
• Collaborate with Service and Sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up on acquisition opportunities.
