Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to grow dealership inventory by purchasing customer vehicles. You will engage leads from AutoNation and third-party sites, set appointments for appraisals, and execute our same-day payment process.

The role focuses on delivering a superior customer experience and meeting vehicle acquisition targets. The position offers hourly pay plus a bonus per vehicle purchased, with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Extremely self-motivated
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
• Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience
• Demonstrated communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills
• Organization and follow-up skills
• Experience with technology
• Valid In-State Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming leads via AutoNation and third-party sites by phone, internet, and walk-in traffic
• Identifies and engages private parties looking to sell their vehicle
• Sets up appointments for dealership visits and appraisals
• Executes the AutoNation We'll Buy Your Car Same-Day Payment process
• Reviews vehicle condition reports and inspects vehicles onsite
• Interacts with customers throughout the day, in person and over the phone
• Refer customers who prefer trade-in to the sales team
