Job summary

AutoNation offers flexible hours with hourly pay plus a bonus for each vehicle purchased. The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist role focuses on acquiring inventory by purchasing customer vehicles and delivering an exceptional customer experience through the We’ll Buy Your Car program.

Responsibilities include responding to leads, scheduling appraisals, evaluating vehicle condition, and guiding customers through the sale or trade-in process. Prior sales or service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Extremely self-motivated with ability to set and achieve targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Good judgment, organization and follow-up abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming leads via phone, web, and walk-in traffic.
• Identifies private parties looking to sell their vehicle and engages them.
• Sets up appointments for dealership visits and appraisals.
• Executes the We’ll Buy Your Car same-day payment process.
• Reviews vehicle condition reports and inspects vehicles onsite.
• Interacts with customers throughout the day in person and by phone.
• Refer customers who prefer trade-in to the sales team.
