Job summary

DJ’s Landscape Management in Prior Lake, MN is seeking a hands-on Vegetation Control Crew Lead to direct a small team and maintain our commercial sites all season. You will handle weed control, spray applications, and ensure safety and quality.

We sponsor your Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Category A & E) with expenses covered, and offer training and opportunities for career growth. Competitive base pay: $22 - $28 per hour; Snow pay differential, 401(k) plan with company match,

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk for long periods.
• Able to carry a backpack sprayer weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lead a small crew.
• Identify common weeds of Minnesota.
• Operate and care for assigned equipment.
• Read maps/directions on a mobile device or paper.
• Desire to work daily at the highest level of professionalism, quality, and performance.
• Desire to work with a team to accomplish goals.
• Able to work outdoors in varied conditions for an extended period.
• Valid license or ability to obtain one.
• Read pesticide labels and measure pesticides per label.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Smartphone required.
