Syngenta Vegetable Seeds Development Intern in Nampa, ID, will gain hands-on experience within the Seed Operations Team across multiple crops, supporting both field and greenhouse activities and data collection. The program is part of an Emerging Talent initiative to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Plant Biology, Plant Breeding, or related fields, and while English-Spanish bilingual skills are a plus, eligibility

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Plant Biology, Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Genetics, Agronomy, or related major.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) would be ideal but not required.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Foster an operational culture founded on adherence to HSE and corporate policies.
• Support the Seed Operations Team with field and greenhouse activities for seed production.
• Assist in data collection in greenhouses and the field with accuracy.
• Support field crew activities including seed preparation, planting, pollinating, crop protection, and tissue sampling.
• Perform other duties to meet project needs.
