Job summary

Pure-Flavor seeks a Quality Control Inspector to assess vegetables on arrival, in inventory, and pre-shipment, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory standards.

You'll inspect loads, complete QC reports, categorize inventory by quality, coordinate with the Commodities Department on disposition, and monitor packaging for compliance. This on-site role in a refrigerated facility requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Vegetable Inspector or Quality Inspector.
• Knowledge of GMP, Health & Safety and Food Safety.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect arriving loads and outbound shipments.
• Complete QC inspection reports for each load, including distressed ones.
• Categorize inventory by quality and condition.
• Communicate disposition decisions with the Commodities Department.
• Conduct outgoing quality checks and review shipper checks.
• Inspect finished product and packaging for standards when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
