Performance Foodservice is seeking a Fresh Produce QA Inspector to ensure the quality of inbound and in-house produce. You will perform visual inspections on the Cooler Dock and in-house pick slots, collaborate with the Produce CM, Inventory Control and OPS, and report daily counts to the National Account Manager and Produce Team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 3–12 months in procurement/warehouse/administrative roles, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and comfort working in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred.
• Must be willing to train on pallet jack operation and certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform duties to reduce spoilage and assist cooler Receiving on perishable items.
• Communicate with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely manner; ensure questions are answered accurately.
• Determine quality of products returned; work with Returns Clerk on disposition.
• Daily inspection of produce returns and disposition decisions (restock vs. loss/shrink).
• Break down full cases to smaller units to minimize spoilage and lost inventory.
• Check for dating issues on designated products and remove short-dated/bad items from inventory.
• Keep inventory counts current.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday 7am - 4pm.
