Job summary

Pure-Flavor is seeking a General Labor role to ensure high-quality produce is packed correctly and labeled accurately. You will support the supply chain by meeting productivity targets and ensuring GMP and food safety standards are observed.

Responsibilities include inspecting vegetables, preventing contamination, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role requires teamwork, independence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting within a refrigerated facility.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required; general packhouse operations preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, Health and Safety, Food Safety preferred.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and handle fresh vegetables; grade by ripening stages, sizes and classification and package per customer specs.
• Inspect produce and packaging for foreign objects; report to authorized personnel.
• Handle produce carefully to prevent bruising; meet quality, safety and packing standards.
• Communicate with Production Supervisor; report quality issues, damage, shortages.
