Job summary

Yates Construction seeks a VDC Manager to drive the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Virtual Design and Construction across design, construction, and facilities management on active projects.

You will lead BIM implementation, coordinate 3D/4D coordination sessions, and collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate models, schedules, and site logistics. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent experience in the building industry acceptable
• An undergraduate University degree or higher (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field) is preferred.
• Ten (10) + years’ experience working a BIM or VDC-related role, preferably in the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VDC strategy throughout the project life cycle from design and construction to facilities management.
• Provide leadership and guidance for BIM implementation.
• Lead VDC project setup and manage collaboration across marketing, pursuit, pre-construction, and construction phases.
• Lead BIM meetings and design or MEP coordination sessions.
• Interact with jobsites to understand project VDC implementations and ensure alignment with standards.
