Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company in Atlanta seeks a VDC Manager 1 to lead virtual design and construction activities on one or more projects. You will manage VDC workflows, coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors, and ensure BIM data is accurate and actionable in the field.

Responsibilities include preconstruction coordination, contract review for VDC requirements, leading meetings, and mentoring team members while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; may substitute related experience.
• Eight years of construction industry experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Suite, Bluebeam, Revizto, Tekla, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preconstruction coordination and VDC efforts.
• Oversee project coordination and relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
• Review contracts for VDC references and ensure Execution Plan compliance.
• Lead VDC meetings and communicate data from BIM to the field accurately.
• Mentor VDC team members and monitor project performance and safety.
