Job summary

Manhattan Construction is seeking a VDC Manager 1 to lead VDC/BIM activities on one or multiple projects. You will manage VDC team members and subcontractors, ensure data is properly implemented on site, and align with owner/designer requirements.

The role emphasizes coordinating with clients, designers, and field teams, maintaining schedule and cost controls, and mentoring others to uphold safety and quality standards. This position is based in Tucker, GA with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preconstruction coordination and other VDC efforts.
• Assist with reports regarding the coordination efforts of the project.
• Oversee coordination performance and maintain relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
• Review the owner contract for VDC/BIM requirements and ensure Execution Plan alignment.
• Lead project meetings and conduct quality control inspections of the model.
• Ensure VDC data is implemented in the field and communicated to all parties.
