Lighthouse Electric in Columbus, OH is seeking a VDC Specialist to advance 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination for large-scale electrical projects. You will produce and edit BIM models, detail shop drawings, and help improve BIM workflows, collaborating closely with project teams and designers.

The role requires an associate degree in CAD or similar, with strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 and related tools, plus solid communication and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar, preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in reading floor plans, sections, and elevations; BIM360, Bluebeam, Excel and Outlook, Navisworks, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Produces, edits, and coordinates 3D object‑oriented models.
• Annotates, details fabrication and field installation shop drawings.
• Participates in development and continuous improvement of workflows and SOPs.
• Identifies model‑related issues to the project team.
• Maintains regular contact with their project team.
