Job summary

Adams Electric is seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator to oversee high-priority BIM tasks and ensure alignment with contract requirements. The role focuses on layout, input, coordination, and shop drawings, with support from the BIM team as needed.

The coordinator will stay updated on project status to optimize resource allocation within the BIM Department. Responsibilities include maintaining Revit/Navisworks standards, conducting clash detection, and producing 3D models and construction documents

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and team orientation.
• Two or more years of related BIM/VDC experience or training.
• Proficient with Blue Beam, Revit MEP and Navisworks; electrical layout in Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-priority BIM/VDC coordination tasks with attention to contract requirements and owner satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of latest Revit and Navisworks systems.
• Coordinate layout and design of electrical systems per contract documents and Electrical Code.
• Conduct clash detection studies and communicate results to the project team.
• Develop BIM models and 3D coordination drawings from BIM/3D models.
• Provide ongoing technical support to project managers and team members.
