Job summary

Ohio Valley Electrical Services, Inc. is seeking a BIM VDC Electrical Coordinator to transform engineered drawings into constructable installation plans for commercial and industrial facilities.

This role focuses on clash-free coordination and sequencing. You will develop 3D models in Revit and Navisworks, review NEC requirements, and collaborate with field teams to ensure efficient trades installation and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electrical tech or construction.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical construction or BIM coordination.
• Strong NEC knowledge and coordination skills.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D BIM models and installation sequences for electrical systems.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other trades.
• Create installation plans for raceways, cable tray, and supports.
• Generate installation drawings, specs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with field teams and design coordination sessions.
