Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a VDC Manager for a data center project in San Marcos, TX. You will oversee VDC modeling coordination, reality capture, and the integration of drones, laser scanning, and 3D/4D/5D content across design and field teams.

Lead training, manage workflows among preconstruction, field ops, and vendors, and mentor the team while driving continuous improvement in VDC standards and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent mix of education/experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years in architectural, construction, or manufacturing sectors; at least 2 years in VDC/BIM management.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; strong Autodesk skills (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and VDC software understanding.

Responsibilities

• Apply VDC technologies on site with project teams.
• Provide tech leadership on drones, robotics, laser scanning, and reality capture.
• Leverage 3D/4D/5D content to aid design, management and implementation of VDC systems.
• Streamline workflows between preconstruction and field operations.
