Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced VDC Lead to manage digital delivery in its Advanced Manufacturing Group. The role is site-based with a flexible home-office option across the U.S. and involves coordinating BIM, 3D/4D/5D tasks and overseeing laser scanning data integration.

You will lead BIM Execution Plans, manage the Common Data Environment, and drive clash resolution with design teams and trade partners while supporting field teams and project scoping.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within construction.
• BIM technologies applied to manufacturing environments in Design and Construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven onsite leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments on-site and virtually.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willing to work onsite near Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM and Digital Delivery leadership aligning tech with client goals.
• Define VDC scope for project estimates and coordinate setup and deliverables.
• Lead BIM Execution Plans for EPCM and integrate 3D/4D/5D tasks.
• Manage Common Data Environment from design to construction.
• Lead clash detection and resolution meetings with design teams and trade partners.
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and Scan-to-BIM efforts.
• Oversee on-site VDC processes and field support to teams.
