Job summary
Jacobs in the United States is seeking an experienced VDC Engineer to lead digital delivery in our Advanced Manufacturing group. You will manage BIM/VDC processes, set up execution plans for EPCM projects, and coordinate 3D, 4D, and 5D workflows across design and construction teams.
You will ensure the use of Autodesk Construction Cloud, lead clash resolution, and coordinate laser scans and reality capture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in VDC/BIM roles within construction.
- Strong BIM tech in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience with laser scanning and managing point cloud data.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven onsite VDC leadership.
- Able to work on site near Corpus Christi, TX.
- Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead VDC/BIM governance and digital delivery for projects.
- Define BIM Execution Plans for EPCM projects.
- Coordinate 3D models, 4D schedules, 5D costs.
- Manage Common Data Environment from design to construction.
- Lead clash detection and resolution meetings.
- Provide onsite leadership and field support for digital tools.
- Coordinate laser scan data integration and Scan-to-BIM.
