Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Virtual Design Construction Specialist to support BIM workflows across large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will assemble 3D content, learn JE Dunn BIM standards, and coordinate with project teams.

You will develop professional skills, deliver value to internal clients, and support base modeling and content coordination using Autodesk tools while aligning with the company vision and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–2 years construction experience or internship preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and travel typically not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide models and documents to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership and project teams.
• Assemble 3D content modeled by others and model content not provided.
• Learn and maintain productive BIM processes across projects.
• Create and maintain project documentation (agendas, minutes, constraint logs).
• Support RFI process for BIM-related items and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Read construction documents and BIM requirements; ensure alignment with VDC standards.
• Analyze documents/models for errors and omissions; implement corrections.
• Support self-perform model management and layout within VDC scope.
