Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Virtual Design & Construction Project Engineer to join our project team. You will support model management and coordination among clients, trade partners, project engineers, and field staff throughout design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in VDC/coordination, strong BIM software skills (Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo), and a proactive, collaborative approach to drive constructability and QA/QC across projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience as a VDC engineer/coordinator, Project Engineer, or similar role in construction.
• Demonstrated knowledge of BIM/VDC software and QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VDC Manager to design and implement the VDC strategy across the project life cycle.
• Support model coordination with Architecture, MEPTF, Civil, and other disciplines; work with field superintendents on site logistics and AR/VR integrations.
• Identify constructability issues and missing model information; raise RFIs to support resolution.
• Oversee and enforce the BIM coordination plan and schedule; integrate laser scans and sUAS data.
• Facilitate BIM meetings and design MEP coordination sessions; share best practices.
