Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Integrated Construction Coordinator II to implement and oversee VDC processes across project phases. You’ll produce 3D models in Revit and 2D drawings while coordinating with the construction team on VDC workflows.

Ideal candidates hold 4+ years of related experience, with BIM/VDC training and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup. The role supports Mortenson’s IDAT community and offers growth in a dynamic, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent field.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, Sketchup, and/or other 3D modeling software.
• 4+ years related experience.
• Survey data knowledge and/or experience is preferred.
• GIS data management is a plus.
• Completion of intermediate level of BIM/VDC software training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms.
• Autodesk Revit to produce 3D models and 2D drawing sets.
• May include: existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning and record modeling.
• Provide point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction.
• Document work process as it relates to improving and/or changing current company process standards.
• Assist in training on VDC processes.
• All integrated construction team members should be active participants in Mortenson’s IDAT (Integrated Delivery Advancement Team) community of practice—sharing knowledge.
• Daily work planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
