Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled electrical designer/drafter to develop 3D electrical models using Revit and Navisworks, and to produce detailed construction drawings across plans, sections, and layouts. You will clash-detect and coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP trades to keep designs accurate and constructible.

With 2+ years in electrical design in a BIM/VDC environment, you will work on projects using NEC/NFPA standards and be part of a collaborative team offering strong growth,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting in BIM/VDC.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and/or Navisworks.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models using Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Produce construction and fabrication-level drawings including plans, sections, and detailed layouts.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP trades.
• Update models and drawings to reflect RFIs, field changes, and as-built conditions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure designs are accurate and constructible.

What You’ll Do

• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
