Job summary

Jobot is seeking a talented electrical designer/drafter in the Sterling Heights area to build smarter electrical systems using BIM tools. You will develop and maintain detailed 3D models and produce construction drawings, coordinating with engineers and field teams to ensure constructible designs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; Bluebeam a plus.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models using Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Produce construction and fabrication-level drawings including plans, sections, and detailed layouts.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP trades.
• Update models and drawings to reflect RFIs, field changes, and as-built conditions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure designs are accurate and constructible.

What You’ll Do
