Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer/Drafting specialist in Wisconsin to join an engineering team delivering electrical design solutions for industrial and manufacturing clients.

You will create AutoCAD drawings, develop layouts, and coordinate BIM models; collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM software preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop electrical equipment layouts, cable tray routing, and conduit drawings.
• Produce one-line diagrams, schematics, lighting layouts, and construction documents.
• Assist with 3D modeling and BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, controls engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Support projects serving industrial manufacturing and process facilities.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate revisions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Industrial, manufacturing, power distribution, or process industry experience is a plus.
