Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced electrical design drafter to join our growing engineering team in Wisconsin. You will create and revise electrical drawings, develop layouts, and support BIM coordination on industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks or BIM software preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop electrical equipment layouts, cable tray routing, and conduit drawings.
• Produce one-line diagrams, schematics, lighting layouts, and construction documents.
• Assist with 3D modeling and BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, controls engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Support projects serving industrial manufacturing and process facilities.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate revisions as needed.
