Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an VMware Cloud Foundation Infrastructure Architect to lead planning, deployment, and operations of base VCF infrastructure including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria components. You will guide clients as a subject matter expert, design scalable networks, and drive DR strategies.

Role requires 5+ years in architecture or engineering, travel readiness, and strong collaboration with customers to deliver successful VCF outcomes.

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Experience designing, deploying and configuring VMware Cloud Foundation components.

Responsibilities

Lead customer consulting projects focused on VMware Cloud Foundation private cloud solutions as SME.
Collaborate with clients to identify VCF opportunities.
Plan, deploy, manage and operate VMware Cloud Foundation; design and size infra for management components and workload domains.
Design, deploy and configure data center networks (LANs/VLANs/WANs) and related security devices.
Hands-on installation and configuration of Aria Operations and Aria Logs insights.
Implement Aria Automation, service catalogs, and Orchestrator integration.
Design and implement disaster recovery solutions using Site Recovery Manager or Live Recovery.
Mentor and manage consultants on VCF solutions.
