Job summary

AHEAD seeks a Senior Technical Consultant to design, deploy, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) for enterprise hybrid cloud environments. You will work with clients to implement VCF-based architectures that improve operations, automation, security, and scalability.

The role requires deep VCF expertise, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to best practices. Occasional travel is expected, with a strong emphasis on delivering high‑quality solutions and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of technical experience with VMware and supporting technologies.
• VCF 9.0 Administrator or Architecture certification is preferred.
• Extensive design and deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 (VCF) including vSphere, NSX, vSAN, Aria Suite.
• Strong experience with VCF lifecycle management, automation, and workload migration.
• Hands-on deployment and management of VCF on various hardware and HCI solutions.
• Experience with Elastic VMware Services (EVS) on AWS or AVS is desirable.
• Travel willingness at least 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, configuration, and validation of VCF solutions (VCF v9.0+).
• Deploy and configure VCF Fleet, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Suite within VCF.
• Define business and technical requirements for private and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Design multi-site architectures, workload mobility, and DR strategies.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, and knowledge transfer.
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting and optimization.
