Position Overview: Blue Yonder is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to optimizing supply chain operations through cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you will be developing & maintaining an industry-standard Category Management desktop application. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Consistently deliver high-quality design and implementation, helping shape what is built, including:

• Developing quality software according to Blue Yonder standards, including effective test code.
• Providing input for backlog prioritization and supporting team members in issue resolution.
• Participating in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Translating business requirements into user stories and seeking stakeholder feedback.
• Leading design efforts for individual stories and translating designs into subtasks.
• Considering information security aspects during coding and code reviews.
• Staying updated with industry trends and researching new technologies.
• Becoming a go-to expert in your area for implementation and operational issues.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Producing actionable user stories to address operational pain points.
• Managing complex changes and stakeholder expectations.
• Resolving incidents independently and driving post-mortem analyses.
• Providing feedback during code reviews.
• Onboarding new team members and mentoring junior engineers.
• Understanding functional and technical requirements.
• Identifying opportunities for refactoring and feeding them into the backlog.
• Enhancing the team’s continuous integration pipeline and fixing build issues.
• Performing performance analyses and optimizations.
• Demonstrating problem-solving and innovative abilities.
• Aligning work with company and team visions, ensuring user stories adhere to these.
• Gaining a deep understanding of the problem domain.
• Communicating the impact of changes effectively and proactively addressing impediments.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 8+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive C++ programming, OO design, problem solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience with COM, DCOM, T-SQL, PL/SQL, XML, WPF, JSON, WebSockets, Git.
• Full stack development experience.
• Ability to debug complex issues deeply.
• Exposure to Azure and AI/ML is a plus.
• Scripting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of product development cycle, technical requirements, and OO concepts.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time.
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

The salary range for this position is $90,821 - $143,896, reflecting current national data. Salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, and other relevant factors. The role may include performance bonuses or commissions.
