Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and related modalities. The role requires BLS within 30 days of hire, ARDMS RVT-VT or equivalent, and RVS certification, with an Associate’s Degree in Sonography.

Responsibilities include imaging, data accuracy, and communications with physicians. Candidates will rotate to off-site mobile locations and participate in rotating call shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Sonography required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ARDMS RVT-VT certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning and technical factors.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy and completeness.
• Documents findings clearly and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging per protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Ensure equipment and rooms are cleaned between patients.
