Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound equipment. You will rotate to off-site mobile locations to increase access and participate in call coverage during nights and weekends, while maintaining high imaging standards.

Qualified candidates hold BLS, RVS/CCI, and RVT-VT/ARDMS certifications with an Associate’s degree in Sonography. This role supports diverse cardiovascular services across multiple facilities and emphasizes

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• RVS certification by CCI.
• RVT-VT certification by ARDMS.
• Associate’s degree in Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other CV Services divisions.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by optimizing positioning and factors.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy and completeness.
• Documents findings clearly for physicians.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound exams per protocol.
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients.
• Rotates call during holidays, nights and weekends.
• Ensures equipment and rooms are cleaned between patients.
• Communicates patient history and exam findings to physicians.
