Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT‑VT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Education: Associate’s Degree: Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures per department guidelines.
• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams according to physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Document appropriately to communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings.
