Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and related testing modalities. The role requires keeping protocols, documenting findings, and maintaining high imaging standards across sites.

The candidate will rotate to off-site locations and participate in on-call rotations during certain hours. Qualifications include BLS within 30 days, RVS/CCI, and RVT‑VT through ARDMS, plus an Associate’s Degree in Sonography.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• RVS certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• RVT‑VT certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures per guidelines.
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and rooms between patients.
