Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and testing modalities. The role includes rotating to off-site mobile locations, taking call during nights, weekends and holidays, and ensuring high-quality imaging.

You will work within CV Services with a collaborative team, contributing to patient care across multiple sites. Requires BLS and ARDMS/RVT-VT certifications and an Associate’s Degree in Sonography.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI.
• Registered Vascular Technologist - RVT-VT - ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning and technical factors.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights and weekends.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and rooms between patients.
