Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• RVS and RVT-VT certifications (CCI/ARDMS).
• Associate’s Degree in Sonography required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Critique imaging quality by positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Document accurately and completely.
• Perform vascular ultrasound imaging per departmental guidelines.
• Conduct a variety of vascular exams per physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Clean equipment and rooms between patients.
• Communicate patient history and exam findings clearly to physicians.
