Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and related modalities. The role includes performing both routine and complex imaging, rotating to off-site mobile locations, and participating in on-call coverage during holidays, nights, and weekends.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in Sonography and hold BLS, RVS, and RVT‑VT credentials; ARDMS credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days.
• RVS (CCI) and RVT‑VT ARDMS credentials are required.
• Associate’s Degree in Sonography is required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning and technical factors.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures per protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Clean equipment and rooms between patients and communicate findings to physicians.
