Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Sonography required.
• Certified by BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• RVS (CCI) and RVT‑VT (ARDMS) credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other CV Services divisions.
• Maintains imaging quality by evaluating positioning and technical factors.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Performs a variety of vascular ultrasound exams, according to physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Documents appropriately to communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings.
