Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• 1 year MA, CNA, PCA, STNA, or SEH Clinical Care Tech experience preferred.
• Completion of MA program including hands-on externship preferred.
• Completion of SEP Internship or EMT certification considered.
• Health or Biological Sciences degree with hands-on clinical experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document in chart.
• Document patient history in chart and provide clear patient instructions.
• Prepare patient for exam and assist provider during examination.
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens and perform basic tests.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by provider.
• Ensure complete and accurate patient information and revenue-cycle forms.
• Maintain supplies and disinfect exam rooms; report equipment issues.
• Triage and process patient messages and manage referrals/tests.
• Coordinate with Central Billing Office to resolve patient issues.
• Follow scribe guidelines if applicable and perform other duties as assigned.
