Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• MA program externship or SEP internship or EMT certification or relevant degree with hands-on clinical care

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs and document in patient chart.
• Document patient history in the chart.
• Assist provider during examinations and nursing procedures.
• Prepare patient for exams and provide instructions as directed by providers.
• Collect lab specimens and perform basic tests.
• Prepare and administer medications per provider instructions.
• Maintain logs, ensure HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance and revenue cycle forms.

Education
