Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in Bright Indiana Primary Care. You will escort patients, document vitals and history, and assist providers during exams, while maintaining HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA compliance.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, and one of several clinical experiences or MA program completion. Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is preferred, with opportunities for growth and a stable work schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• MUST have one of the following: 1 year MA, CNA, PCA, STNA, or SEH Clinical Care Tech experience; MA program completion with hands-on externship; SEP Internship; EMT certification; Degree in Health or Biological Sciences with hands-on clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs in the chart.
• Document patient history in the chart and provide clear patient guidance.
• Assist providers during examinations and perform nursing procedures under supervision.
• Prepare patients for exams and manage specimens and basic lab tests.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

MA program completion or SEP internship or EMT certification

Degree in Health or Biological Sciences with hands-on clinical care
