Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer in Dublin, OH. You will perform vascular diagnostic testing, review orders, and report preliminary findings for physician interpretation in alignment with accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARDMS RVT; RVS; ARDMS or CCI Board-eligible AND achieve certification within 12 months of hire.
• Experience: Minimum one year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred.
• Effective Communication Skills.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician orders to ensure correct procedure and correctly identifies patients.
• Performs all studies according to policy and procedures and standards established by accrediting body.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions; ensures patient comfort.
