Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to join a supportive, sonographer-led team focused on accessible ultrasound care. You will perform vascular ultrasound procedures, travel to clinic sites within your area, review patient data, and communicate findings to physicians to support maternal and fetal care.

Qualifications

• RV T or RV S credential (registered vascular technologist/specialist) required or bonus points.
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience, preferably with a vascular surgeon.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty.
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• HIPAA compliance with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, labs and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
• Increase knowledge through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area

IS THIS YOU?

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential
• 1+ years vascular sonography experience, preferably working with a vascular surgeon
