Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking a skilled sonographer to join our patient-centered team across clinic sites in Florida. You will perform sonographic procedures, interpret and document findings, and communicate results to physicians. Travel within the assigned area is required.

The role is an hourly non-exempt position with opportunities for CMEs and ongoing professional growth. Ideal candidates hold RVT/RVS and RDCS/RCS/RCCS credentials, 1+ year echo/vascular experience, and a strong knowledge of anatomy

Qualifications

• RVT/RVS and RDCS/RCS/RCCS credentials required or preferred.
• 1+ year echo or vascular sonography experience.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, ultrasound physics, and EMR use.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Review patient charts and histories; create reports.
• Communicate findings to physicians and document results.
• Maintain equipment and restock rooms; CMEs to expand knowledge.

What You'll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• RVT or RVS credential
• RDCS, RCS or RCCS credential
• 1+ years echo or vascular sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
