Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans and post-procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment per safety policies.
• Enter medical notes in EMR.
• Use sterile technique for procedure setup and patient prep.
• Maintain patient privacy per HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
