Job summary

VIP Medical Group in New York is seeking a skilled Medical Sonographer to join our venous and pain treatment teams. You will perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, ensure accurate documentation, and support patient care across multiple locations.

Join a PHP-based practice with a patient-first approach, HIPAA compliance, and a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment at Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens sites.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
