Job summary

VIP Medical Group in New York, NY is seeking a Float Sonographer to join our venous ultrasound team serving Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens locations. The role involves performing diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, pre/post procedure imaging, EMR documentation and patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in Medical Sonography, at least one year of experience, and certification as a Medical Sonographer; RVT/RVS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
• Assist during procedures.

The pay range for this role is:
37 - 45 USD per hour(NY1002_Midtown)
