Job summary

VIP Medical Group seeks a Medical Sonographer to perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans and related procedures in Arlington, TX. The role requires patient-focused care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the health care team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Medical Sonography, 1+ year of experience, EMR proficiency, and certification as a Certified Medical Sonographer. RVT/RVS preferred; strong commitment to HIPAA and patient safety is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonographer.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or RVS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
